WHAT

Join us for this important conversation on the impact of Police violence on Black Mental Health.

WHY

The American Psychiatric Association (APA) recognized the profound negative impact of police brutality on mental health in the black community. Information obtained from these community conversations will help build a grief and trauma- informed police practices and policies in working with Black and other marginalized communities.

Are The words uttered by too many Black males that have died at the hands of police. This TALK will focus on the unique experiences of Black Men & The police.

"Hands Up Don't Shoot"

Black Parents have the unique responsibility of preparing Black children to deal with negative police interactions. This TALK will focus on the unique experiences of Black Parents and messages taught to Black Children.
